PERSONAL DATA

Solmaz Azay kizi Sadigova was born on 5 November 1959 in Zardob region. In 1976 graduated the primary-secondary school number 1 of Zardob region. In 1976-1979 worked at industrial. In 1980-1985 studied with high marks in library science faculty of Baku State University. In 1985 with assignment Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic worked as head librarian, scientific secretary, since 1986 till 1994 chief of Scientific-methodic department in Republic State Children Library named after F.Kocharli. During activity has been in scientific mission in Moscow and Kiev and also in practical and methodical missions in different regions of our republic. In 1989 graduated with honors diploma Faculty of Party economy activists, department of ideological work of UML of CC of CP of Azerbaijan. In 1995-1999 graduated post-graduate school (without divorcing from industrial) of BSU on the special of bibliography. Has took active part with reports in scientific-practice conferences which is realized by Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic and Baku State University Science 1994 head laboratory assistant in bibliographianship department, science 2004 a teacher, science 2006 vice-dean of the faculty, science February of 2008 head teacher of that faculty.

  • 1980-1985,She has studied in Library and Information Science, BSU
  • In 1995-1999 graduated post-graduate school (without divorcing from industrial) of BSU on the special of bibliography.
  • 2011th year, For to receive scientific degree of doctor of philosophy she has defended thesis of "Bibliographic repertoire of the Azerbaijan press (book and periodic publications)  :history, modern situation and perspectives (the 1959-2000th years)" subject.
  • The 2012th year have been given FD the 07685th 3 of October diploma of scientific degree of doctor of philosophy on history of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of Azerbaijan Republic by dated (protocol №28-k) decision of the 2012th year.
