BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

1960: was born in the Hamamly village of the Dmanisi region Republic of Georgia.

1968-1979: Elementary, secondary and high school: Gold Medal for highest achievement, Republic of Georgia.

1981-1983: Has studied in the Baku Technical School of Cultural Enlightenment, Honors diploma, Baku.

1983-1988: School Library and İnformation of Azerbaijan State University, Honors Diploma, Baku.

1987-1989: Institute of Journalist Arts of Azerbaijan, Honors Diploma, Baku.

1994-1998: Baku State University, School of Journalism, Honors Diploma, Baku.

1979-1981: Has worked in the Hamamli village secondary school.

1988-1990: Laboratory assistant Library Sciences of the Baku State University.

1993-1994: Teacher in the department of Library Sciences of the Baku State University.

1994-2006: Head teacher in the department of Library Sciences of the Baku State University.

2006-2012: to present: Assistant professor of the department of Library Sciences of the Baku State University.

2012 to present: The head of the Department of Bibliology and Publishing at the Baku State University.

2004: In the Baku State University has defended the dissertation thesis on a theme “Role of the art literature in formation of the personality”. Doctor of Philosophy on Pedagogy, associate professor.

1992-1994: correspondent of the newspaper of “Azerbaijani Army” and editor of the Military Publishing House the Azerbaijan Republic the Ministry of Defense. He is participant of the Armenia-Azerbaijan war. He is veteran of the Garabagh war.

1979 to present: And collaborates by mass media continuous. Has worked in “Baki Universiteti” (“University of Baku”), “Azerbayjan gencleri” (“Youths of Azerbaijan”), “Mubariza” (“Fight”), “Muhakima” (“Judgment”), “Azerbayjan Ordusu” (“Azerbaijan Army”), “Borchali” and in another newspapers in posts of correspondent, editor and editor-in-chief. At present editor-in-chief of the journal of colored child “Goygurshagi” (“Blue waist-band”), editor-in-chief deputy of the journal of “Xazar Xabar” (“Khazar View”), editor of the “Borchali” journal, science editor responsible of journal “Kitabchanashunaslig ve bibliografiya” (“Library Sciences and Bibliography”), editor of journal “Kitabxana.az”.

Currently he is the founder and editor-in-chief of the scientific-theoretical and practical-methodical journal “Kitabşünaslıq və Redaktor Sənəti” (“Bibliology and Editing Art”), deputy editor-in-chief of the theoretical and practical journal “Kitabxanaşünaslıq və informasiya” (“Library Sciences and information”), editor of “Borçalı” (“Borchaly”) magazine, editor of “Borçalı” (“Borchaly”) newspaper, editor of the printed and electronic magazine “Kitabxana.az” (“Library.az”), member of the editorial board of the theoretical and practical journal “Kitabxanaşünaslıq və biblioqrafiya”( “Library science and bibliography”) etc.

1989 to present: Member of the Journalists' Union of the Soviet Union and Member of the Azerbaijan Journalists Union.

1992 to present: Member of the Azerbaijan Ashugs Union.

1998 to present: Member of the Azerbaijan Writers Union.

2002 to present: Member of the Azerbaijan Press Council.

2006-2012: Associate Professor of the department of Library Sciences of the Baku State University.

2012 to present: The head of the Department of Bibliology and Publishing at the Baku State University.
